Chaos Gem is the power of Veldara. When the Veldara expansion came out in the summer of 2019, players had a whole new aspect of the game to explore. This aspect was called chaos. To level up your Chaos Gem, you had to complete multiple tasks.
Path to Obtain
To begin your Chaos Gem journey, speak to Lavana (#28126) and obtain the quest Chaotic Gemcutting.
Additionally, Studying the Chaos, must be completed by speaking to Tordin (#28125). Studying the Chaos awards the "Uncut Chaos Gem" required by Lavana.

Earning Chaos Ore
There are numerous ways to earn Chaos Ore, as is explained below.
Earning the Ore
Levels 81 and 85 award 1x Chaos Ore per Level. By simply leveling up, you can then go visit Lavana (#28126) for 1x Chaos Ore each time.
