Similar to the Badge and Rune slot, the Chaos Gem slot is a special Equipment item that upgrades your Chaos Damage through various quests and tasks.
Path to Obtain
To begin your Chaos Gem journey, speak to Lavana. You must be Level 80 and have access to Veldara.
To obtain your Uncut Chaos Gem, complete the quest Studying the Chaos after speaking with Lavana.
Chaos Ore
The Chaos Ore is used to obtain and upgrade your Chaos Gem.
Most of the main questline of Veldera will award you with an ore, others require daily Tokens, and also Treasury items to complete. Use these ores to upgrade your Chaos Gem

Earning Chaos Ore
There are numerous ways to earn Chaos Ore, as is explained below.
Studying the Chaos Quest
1x Chaos Ore will be awarded by Lavana in the Studying the Chaos quest alongside being rewarded the Chaos Gem.
Earning the Ore Quest
By simply leveling up, you can then go visit Lavana for some extra Chaos Ore

Gladiator Arena Quests
Two quests can be completed in the Gladiator Arena to earn Chaos Ore. They are:
- (5x Chaos Ore) Gladiator Missionary offers the Unstable Minerals quest.
Veldara Quests
Several lines of quests can be completed in Veldara to earn more Chaos Ore. They are:
- (3x Chaos Ore) Ashala offers the Unstable Jewels quest.
- (3x Chaos Ore) Cyborg 42069 offers the Hunting Tyribots quest.
- (11x Chaos Ore) Tordin offers 11x quests to obtain Chaos Ore. Completion of the Veldara Wastes, Veldara Cliffs, Veldara Arena, Veldara Woods, Veldara Caves, Saving Zaldar, Defending Tyrisar, Return of Chaos, and Studying the Chaos main quests will also award 1x Chaos Ore each. Completion of Purging the Garden will award 2x Chaos Ore.
- (6x Chaos Ore) Rorvono offers 3x quests to obtain Chaos Ore. For characters Level 82+, the Volatile Chaos Golem (Q), Deluged Chaos Golem (Q), and Seeping Chaos Golem (Q) quests require you to collect Volatile Crystal, Deluged Crystal, and Seeping Crystal respectively from killing the Golems which respawn every 2 weeks.
- (10x Chaos Ore) Norin offers 10x quests to obtain Chaos Ore. Each Pulsating Exchange quest requires you to bring 1x Pulsating Stone to Norin which can be purchased on the Treasury or found as a rare drop from powerful raids.
- (6x Chaos Ore) Dorgon offers 3x quests to obtain Chaos Ore. After completing the Veldarian Cuisine quest, Dorgon will offer 3x Secret Recipe quests in which players must locate rare, tradeable ingredients and cook them in the Cauldron to make special dishes. Players must find clues from residents of Veldara about where these ingredients can be found. The 3 Secret Recipes are as follows:
- "Secret Meaty Pizza" = Cook 1x Unusual Egg / Strange Mushrooms / Perplexing Fillet.
- "Secret Hearty Stew" = Cook 1x Obscure Ribs / Abnormal Heart / Mysterious Peas.
- "Secret Juicy Kebab" = Cook 1x Bizarre Flank / Anomalous Steak / Peculiar Haunch.
